- Multiple spring rate options
- Limited lifetime warranty

BRBN 2.8 Series
Most Adjustable | Fox 2.5 Performance Elite |
|---|---|---|
| Shock Body Material The material the shock body is made from. Aluminum sheds heat faster and weighs less than steel. | Aluminum | Aluminum |
| Shock Body Diameter The outside diameter of the shock body. A larger body holds more oil for better heat management and more consistent performance. | 2.8" | 2.5" |
| Piston Diameter The diameter of the internal piston. A larger piston moves more oil for more precise, consistent damping control. | 2.5" | 2.2" |
| Damper Adjustability Which damping circuits you can tune. More independent adjustments mean finer control over ride quality and handling. | High-Speed Compression, Low-Speed Compression & Rebound | High-Speed Compression & Low-Speed Compression |
| High-Speed Compression Adjusts damping during fast suspension movements, like hitting sharp bumps or rocks at speed. | ✓ | ✓ |
| Low-Speed Compression Adjusts damping during slow suspension movements, like body roll in corners and brake dive. | ✓ | ✓ |
| Rebound Adjustment Controls how fast the shock extends after compressing. Independent rebound tuning helps keep the tire planted over bumps. | ✓ | — |
| Lift Range* The range of ride-height increase the coilover supports, so you can match it to your suspension setup. | 0–4" | 0–3"* |
| Multiple Spring Rate Options Whether the shock is offered with more than one spring rate so you can match it to your vehicle's weight and use. | ✓ | No |
| Warranty The manufacturer's coverage period against defects in materials and workmanship. | Limited Lifetime | 1 Year |
| Suggested Retail Manufacturer suggested retail price. Note how each kit is sold — some prices are per pair and some cover a full front-and-rear kit. | $2,449 (Front Pair) | $2,679 (Front Pair) |
Engineered for Performance
Proven on the dyno first.
Every BRBN coilover model is third-party dyno-tested, so the performance you're paying for is verified data—not a marketing claim.
Tune for the terrain and conditions
High-speed compression for hard hits. Low-speed compression for slow, technical terrain & chatter. Rebound control for how fast the suspension recovers. Most coilovers here lock you into one or two of those. The BRBN 3-Way gives you all three. BRBN dials in for everything from the highway home to the hardest line on the trail.
Bigger body. Cooler running. Less fade.
More body volume means more oil and better heat management on long, hard runs. When other shocks heat-soak and fatigue, a larger body helps the 2.8 hold more consistent performance
Spec to your rig
Height adjustable with multiple spring-rate options means you can match the setup to your actual build—bumpers, armor, gear, and all—instead of settling for limited options or having to customize further on your own. 37" tire friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Three-way means you tune three things independently. High-speed compression handles fast, sharp hits — whoops, washboard, rocks at speed. Low-speed compression controls slow, deliberate movement — crawling and body roll in corners. Rebound sets how fast the shock recovers after a hit. Most coilovers give you one or two of these; the BRBN 2.8 gives you all three, so one set dials in from the highway home to the hardest line on the trail.
-
More body means more oil, and more oil means better heat control. Smaller shocks heat up on long, hard runs and start to fade — damping goes soft right when you need it most. The 2.8" body runs cooler, holds consistent performance, and adds durability.
-
Yes. The BRBN coilover is third-party dyno-tested — A third party measures the actual damping performance, and we publish the results. We'd rather show you the proof than ask you to trust the claim. See the numbers on our Dyno Results page.
-
The BRBN 2.8 carries a limited lifetime warranty — among the strongest in this comparison (Fox covers one year, King 90 days). It backs your coilovers against manufacturing defects for the life of the product. For the full terms — exactly what's covered and how to file a claim — check our Warranty page.

The BRBN 2.8 is built for the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco. The one exception is the Raptor, which runs a different suspension setup and isn't covered by our kits yet.
