Tune for the terrain, not compromise.
High-speed compression for desert whoops. Low-speed compression for slow, technical rock. Rebound control for how fast the suspension recovers. Most coilovers here lock you into one or two of those. The BRBN 2.8 gives you all three. BRBN dials in for everything from the highway home to the hardest line on the trail.
Bigger body. Cooler running. Less fade.
More body volume means more oil and better heat management on long, hard runs. When other shocks heat-soak and go soft, a larger body helps the 2.8 hold consistent damping: lap after lap, mile after mile.
Built for your rig, not a generic platform.
A lightweight aluminum body (where others use heavier steel) plus multiple spring-rate options means you can match the setup to your actual build—bumpers, armor, gear, and all—instead of settling for one-size-fits-all.
Proven on the dyno. Not just on paper.
Every BRBN coilover model is third-party dyno-tested, so the performance you're paying for is verified data—not a marketing claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Three-way means you tune three things independently. High-speed compression handles fast, sharp hits — whoops, washboard, rocks at speed. Low-speed compression controls slow, deliberate movement — crawling and body roll in corners. Rebound sets how fast the shock recovers after a hit. Most coilovers give you one or two of these; the BRBN 2.8 gives you all three, so one set dials in from the highway home to the hardest line on the trail — and re-tunes as you change tires, add weight, or hit new terrain.
-
More body means more oil, and more oil means better heat control. Smaller shocks heat up on long, hard runs and start to fade — damping goes soft right when you need it most. The 2.8" body runs cooler, holds consistent performance, and adds durability. It still uses a 2.5" piston, so it's a proven, direct fit for your Bronco.
-
Yes. Every BRBN coilover is third-party dyno-tested — an independent lab measures the actual damping performance, and we publish the results. We'd rather show you the proof than ask you to trust the claim. See the numbers on our Dyno Results page.
-
The BRBN 2.8 carries a limited lifetime warranty — among the strongest in this comparison (Fox covers one year, King 90 days). It backs your coilovers against manufacturing defects for the life of the product. For the full terms — exactly what's covered and how to file a claim — check our Warranty page.
-
The BRBN 2.8 is built for the 2021–2025 Ford Bronco. The one exception is the Raptor, which runs a different suspension setup and isn't covered by our kits yet.

For the full benefit, most builders run front and rear together — matched damping at both ends is what keeps the rig predictable on and off the trail. You can start at one end and build over time, but a full set is the goal. Running a lift or chasing more travel and better alignment? Add our billet upper control arms and tie rods — built to take the abuse and hold your geometry. Not sure what your build needs? Reach out and we'll spec it with you. info@brbnoffroad.com
